"klaven's tower" quest

I am trying to do the rogue quest, "klaven's tower." I checked thottbot.com and wowhead.com, and both say that Klaven Mortwake's Journal is in the locked chest on top floor of tower. I have read Kearnen's Journal, and pickpocketed the Defias Tower Key, which the quest instructions say to do, but everytime I open the locked chest inside the tower it is empty. I don't understand why that is. Can anyone help?

It appears this is known issue, Widdley. Our Quality Assurance Team is looking into the matter and we hope to introduce a resolution as soon as possible.

Unfortunately we do not currently have a work around for this issue so you may be unable to complete this quest until the issue is resolved.

It used to be. Rogues no longer need to craft poisons.

Poisons skill removed. All finished poisons are available on vendors rather than created by the rogue.
