I have had an authenticator on my account for some months now and I still haven't received my Core Pup Pet : / Is there something I can do ? I recall in the past people having to change their Bnet account passwords and for whatever reason it magically made pets appear!

Could you check this in just a bit for me, Abbey.

If you see an email, btw - but it doesn't appear to contain the attachment, close your mailbox and wait about - oh, 5 min or so. Sometimes it takes a little while for the attachment to actually show to you. Don't delete that email.

This happened to me as well, but I may have deleted my mail...................... Is it possible to acquire another one?

If you got the email but deleted it, yes - just submit a petition to have the pup restored. The mails may have just a bit of a delay when you first opening them showing the actual attachment.

That normally resolves itself within 5-ish min of login.

I also have not even got an email. By the looks of things there is no requirements to get the pet either. Is my account bugged?

Check this in just a bit, Maistral. I do see where you've added an authenticator to your account.

Rats, I was afraid of that.

Could you possibly try changing your password for me, Piffix. That may help. I was hoping I could do this from our end and save you that trouble.

Alrighty, thank you very much for testing that for me.

I know what's going on here, but this is something I'm going to need to pass on since neither what I attempted or a password change seems to have resolved this.

Just hang tight - you do have an authenticator and let me see what we can do about getting the pups to those in your situation.

The issue here is players that have a Battle.net account that isn't based in the US.

Normally, this isn't an issue at all, but other regions are in maintenance at the moment.

We are hopeful this will correct itself in just a few hours, but if not - we've alerted our teams that this is happening.

One way or another, we'll get you a pup :)

and I've had my authenticator on since.. they first came out on itouch!
Any chance this can be fixed?

Again, Ken - you have a Battle.net account not US based.

We are seeing two main types of petitions at the moment on missing pups.

Those that can't see the attachement but did get the email (for those - just leave it in your mail a few minutes, he should show up).

And those with non-US based Battle.net accounts.

How can this be? I'm on a US server using the same Battle.net that all my friends signed up for which have gotten their core hounds already. Very odd if somehow I'm based elsewhere.

Battle.net is a global system, so there is rarely any difference in regions. The website may have automatically sent you elsewhere when you made the account.

It's fine, but can sometimes have a few wrinkles when the WoW account is US based, but the Battle.net isn't.

That is what we are waiting to see. If not, we'll proceed to Plan B :)

:( I haven't received mine either, and I have a sinking suspicion its that same reason you said that my Bnet is not US based. When I set it up, I just clicked to attach my account to B-net and I think it auto sent me to EU for some reason. Is there some way to change it to US based in the future, or I am stuck forever with a non-US Bnet account?

Billing could probably help you with that if you desire, Laira.

Normally, this just isn't an issue and it doesn't matter. Occasionally, a small oddity may pop up like this - but it's something that can be resolved.

I couldn't see mine in the mail, but I shift clicked (auto looted) the mail and my Pup came out =). It was just stuck at "Retrieving Item Information" for about 5 minutes before I could see/learn it.

Aye, exact same thing happened to me.

Sometimes it can take just a little while for the icon to show - same thing when looking into a guildbank, if you see blank tabs don't panic, just give it a few for the information to re-filter to you.

Man fell asleep last night and just got back up to see the replies to my post here lol. Logged in and i still don't have a mail / etc with the little dog man. So even if I live in the US / Play on US servers etc, my Bnet could be based out of the US when i registered it however many months ago it was? Sorry just trying to get an understanding : )

Aye, it's possible. As I've mentioned, normally this just isn't an issue at all as Battle.net itself is global.

I'll be following up on this here in a bit once maintenance is done in the other regions.

One way or another - we'll get you a pup :)

It's a very good thing :)

What better pet to act as a guard dog on your account than a corehound - perfect I say!

I have three separate US battle.net accounts but a registered address in Australia .. would that explain my lack of pups in my accounts' mails despite having authenticators on all three ?

No, if you actually received the mail, just wait - the attachment will arrive.

This other issue, these folks haven't received the email at all.

Hello oh wise and mighty blue!

Apparently I'm in the same boat as the others, as my core hound pup seems to be out chasing a mechano hog.

Would you mind letting me know if I'm on one of those battle.net accounts that resides somewhere other than the US?

Thank you muchly!

"They think I'm slow because I'm from Canada eh?"

Aye, it would appear so, Mortiseques.

It's not based on your address, Abbey - it seems to be connected to which region your Battle.net account is setup in.

We are still waiting to hear if all regions have kicked this off. We will be able to get you one, but I'm still hopeful the automatic process will kick in - in a bit.

My wife has this problem, Ciarre, on Runetotem.

Funny thing is, I recieved mine right away, yet we added our authenticators almost at the same time months ago. Both US accounts based in Australia, both in good standing (not even a warning I don't think).

Unfortunately, Laikar, the World of Warcraft is U.S. but the Battle.net account is not. This is what is likely causing the issue. Billing should be able to help her.

You can call 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) 8AM-8PM (PST) for live representation.

Australian users should please call 1-800-041-378 if the standard 800 line does not work.

Weird, I've had the authenticator on my iTouch for some time now and when I logged on to my main, I saw the letter but I didn't learn the pup. My alts have it though. Is there any way a blue can look into this for me? Much appreciated.

If you submit an in-game petition, Steppingwolf, a Game Master should be able to assist you.

Folks, we've not forgotten about you, it's a matter of figuring out why these aren't going out to some people.

This is something still being looked into.

If you'll note the known issues sticky above, some players seem to have success by resetting their password. That, however, doesn't appear to be working for everyone.

Might we worth giving a password change a try, really can't hurt :)

I know everyone is anxious to have their little 2-headed darling by their side - he is just so darn cute!

Sorry, I know bumps are frowned upon, but Orlyia did ask me to do a specific task, and I just wanted to let her know I did as asked, and the result as posted above.

It was pushed back a heap of pages, so just putting it where she can easily see it if she wanted to.

(Unless I missed her today, in which case, sorry!)

That's fine, Aerisia - and thank you very much for checking on that.

Should be useful information, I'll get it passed along.

Spot-checking through this thread, it appears most of you have now received your pups.

Gratz! I'm sure you will give them a very good home!

If anyone still is in the position of having an authenticator on their account - but have not yet received their email with their corehound pup, please do post here.

Thank you all very much for your patience.
