Now I have to write out a series of macros that:

Explain how I got it.
What an authenticator is and why they need one.
Where and how they too can get their very own.

This should be getting a lot more people to get authenticators. Best advertising scheme that I have seen you ever come up with :)

More then glad to display my hound and spread the word.

Ok thats fine i just don't find very many people wanting to pay extra real money for access to a guild bank. But if you really think you have that bad of ju ju, w/e bursts your bubble

It's not 'just to access a guild bank', it's true purpose is to help secure the account. Peace of mind for yourself and your guild mates is merely a side effect.

Also, an investment (even a very small one) may not even be necessary, since many mobile devices are compatible with the free Mobile Authenticator:

Forget about buying an authenticator. Tons of people bought the charity pets for $10 a pop. You can buy the core hound pup for only $6.50 and Blizzard will throw in a free authenticator.

That is, I admit, a rather novel way of perceiving the situation.

Don't forget that your Pup should only continue to be accessible so long as the Authenticator continues to be properly associated with the account it is linked to.
