GC, the post that you locked is not much different to most posts we see here on the forum.

You was rude, and infact it seemed like you was whining a bit and i think you could do with being a bit more polite to people, or not post, it's simple.

edit: for you failures out there, the post was not mine that he locked. i just noticed he was rude to someone else.

Threads like this are not what these forums are about. If you want to start a "GC is a jerk" thread, feel free, but don't do it in our forums. There are no doubt thousands of websites where you can be immature or rude. Let's not make this another one of them.

I have nearly endless patience for players who want to provide feedback, have legitimate questions about their class, or what to explain problems or express concerns. I have very little patience for the "You made me so mad that I am no longer responsible for my actions" crowd. It's a game. I get as passionate about it as anyone, but I don't post things on the Internet that I wouldn't say to someone's face in civil society.

And if you are the kind of person who would say those kinds of things to someone' face, you must have some interesting friends and coworkers. :)

Q u o t e:
The issue is that if they set out forum rules, your choices are 1) to comply with them, or 2) don't post. People on the forums (like the poster in question) often want to add, 3) "let me break the rules because I'm really upset or I just don't know how to talk any other way."

Well said. If you haven't noticed, being super upset doesn't really get the changes you want in the game either. It really has nothing to do with how you act and everything to do with the strength of your argument (as judged by the developers).

Q u o t e:
Whining shouldn't stop a post from being a post about a huge issue of a class.

You can make that your policy on your forums. These are ours and we make the rules. It's not a particularly onerous rule. We're not asking you to post in Attic Greek. We're asking you to communicate the way you would at work, school, college or any retail situation. Put down the Internet attitude and discuss things intelligently. Don't spend so much effort making excuses for why you are incapable of doing that.
