Hey,

Once I'm at the login screen... I enter my Battle.net account and password... click Login and the game FREEZES. The only way out is to completely restart the PC.

I have done the following and nothing works:

Ran as an administrator
Ran the WoW Repair Utility
Ran an updated Virus / Spyware scan
Disabled Firewall
Running in safe mode w/ networking
Cleared WTF / Interface / Cache folders
Running in "windowed" mode
Updated to 3.5 Net Framework

My PC stats are as following:

System Stats:

Windows Vista 32 Bit (SP 2)
3.0 GhZ Duo-Core Processor
4 GB Ram

Display Stats:

nVidia GeForce 9600 GT overclocked
- 20/11/2009 (Driver date)
- 8.17.11.9562 (Driver version)

PLEASE HELP! Was playing the game fine with no issue last night!!

Hello Altarböy

Try running the game in OpenGL

- Click Start
- Highlight Programs
- Highlight World of Warcraft without clicking on it.
- Right click on the World of Warcraft icon
- Click Properties
- In the Target field, add '-opengl' after the last quotation mark
Example: "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Launcher.exe" -opengl
- Click OK
- Try the game now with the icon you just modified.

Can you also post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste the data from the dxdiag file into your reply.
