Bonus Arena Points

Since the patch yesterday the reward for doing the daily call to arms was an extra 25 bonus arena points. Thinking that this was a great tihng, I finished the Quest for an AB victory recieved my reward, and was happy to see I can get some arena points without moving into the arena. Heres the issue, as of this morning when I log in, the points are gone. Is this intended? Did I do somehting to cause them to disapear? Is this a known issue? I cant seem to find anything about this any insight would be great.

Aye, on this character because he's 79....not 80.

There are only brackets for lvl 70 and lvl 80's - they are the only ones that will retain arena points.
