Hi,

Last week when 3.3 was introduced everyting worked fine. Almost no DC. But since the patch this MOnday that introduce 3.3a I have been experiencing a lot of Random DC. It seem to happen more often when I have been longer logged on. I have amny alts and often switch between them. And the more I play the more I get DC more often. This is pretty annoying I dont know what you guys at Blizz introduced in this patch but it make me DC a lot. FIX This. Wow is the only game that does this.

Another problem that I saw yesterday was when I was in Onixia 25 my FPS wich is usually very good dropped to 1-3 FPS max. It was aweful on that fight. So maybe its a tweak that got introduced to graphics that give me those problems. My graphic card is a 9600 GT Nvidia.

Hope this get solved soon, its pretty annoying.

Most often, if you experience frequent disconnections in the wake of a patch, and other players do not appear to be experiencing a similar issue (we have not received consistent reports of this issue that I'm aware of), then out of date addons can indeed be a culprit.

While you might be able to receive more detailed support via our Technical Support forum, you may want to try resetting your User Interface and updating your Addons to see if that helps resolve this issue first.

Here are the steps you can use to reset your User Interface, though it would be best to move your Addons folder to a safe location prior to using the steps:

Q u o t e:

1) *IMPORTANT* Exit the World of Warcraft to your desktop by logging out of the game and exiting. If World of Warcraft isn't closed, then these steps won't have the desired effect.

2) If you used an "installer" for a custom UI, see if it has an "uninstaller" and use it.

3) Inside the World of Warcraft Program Folder, delete the "WTF," "Cache," and "Interface" folders.

4) Restart your computer.

5) Please do not reinstall Addons prior to testing the issue you were experiencing.

6) Make sure that you are using WOW.EXE or LAUNCHER.EXE to start the game. Please do not run any UI installers beforehand, as we want to eliminate them as part of the issue.

7) Upon launching the game, you should see the Intro cinematic movie and be prompted to agree to the Terms of Use. Once you authenticate past the login screen, the “AddOns” button should no longer be visible at the lower left corner of the character selection screen. Both points mentioned previously must hold true if you should complete the aforementioned steps correctly.
