Dungeon Finder
One of the more exciting additions included in Patch 3.3 is the new Cross-Realm Dungeon Finder. This feature will allow you to find party members quicker than ever, and will bestow users with a few unique rewards. For more information on how to use this tool and the benefits it provides, please take a few moments to review the following thread:

Looting Changes
Patch 3.3 has brought about a number of changes to our looting systems. For more information on the changes to “Need Before Greed” looting method, the emblem distribution methods, and the brand new Disenchant Loot Roll option, please review the following support article:

An especially noteworthy rule for the newly introduced Disenchant Loot Roll option is that:
If an ineligible player selects Need for an item that another player has selected as Disenchant the Disenchant Roll will supersede the false Need roll and the disenchanted materials will be awarded to the winner

General UI Changes
We have introduced a number of different UI changes in this patch, most notably:
  • A pop-up message has been added to warn players before they purchase talent wipes and stable slot purchases.
  • A new Buff Consolidation feature has been added to the Interface Options. This feature will allow you to group very short term (e.g. Replenishment) and very long term (e.g. Prayer of Fortitude) buffs together. However, long term buffs which are about to expire, important procs, cooldowns, or buffs with a limited range will always be displayed.
  • To better monitor your latency reports, a latency specific reporting feature has been added to the game. Should you encounter a bout of latency, please bring it to our attention by clicking the Help Request button (the red question mark) found upon your menu-bar. For more information on latency reports, please review the following support article:

Quest UI Changes
An all-new Quest Tracking feature has been added to the game. This system will allow you to track quest objectives in a more transparent manner. Along with this new functionality, user interface changes have been to the Quest Log, Map, and Objectives pane. For more information on this exciting new feature, please review the following article:

Also, additional functionality has been added to the game to allow AddOn authors to create AddOns which can determine whether or not your character has completed specific quests. For more information, please visit the UI & Macros Forum (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?sid=1&forumId=11114).

New Player Improvements
Several updates have been made to the in-game tutorials. These tutorials can now contain images and provide more thorough on-screen instructions to help new players learn the basics. If you do not wish to see these tutorials, please visit the Help section your Interface Options and remove the checkmark next to Tutorials.

Additionally, the following notable changes have been made to improve the new player experience:
  • The descriptions found upon the Character Creation page have been improved. Additionally, players who are unable to create characters of a certain race and class will be provided additional information on why that option is not available -- including a direct link to upgrade their World of Warcraft account.
  • Characters under level 11 are no longer able to join a raid group.
  • When logging into the game for the first time, you will start at a character creation screen and will not be prompted to select a realm. Characters created in this fashion will be created on a PvE realm that is in “Recommended” status. To select a realm of your choosing, please click the “Back” button on the Character Creation screen.

BoA Items Mailed Between Factions
After receiving many requests, we’re pleased to say that Bind on Account items can now be mailed to characters of the opposite faction if they are on the same account! To mail an item cross-faction, simply type in character’s name into the appropriate field and hit “Send.” It’s as simple as that.

Alternate Currency Reimbursement Changes
With the introduction of Patch 3.3, World-Event items that are purchased with alternate currencies (e.g. Brewfest Prize Tokens) are no longer refundable by vendors. Please display caution when making these purchases as the Game Master staff will likely be unable to reimburse for mistaken purchases of this variety. For more information on the Alternate Currency Reimbursement system, please review the following knowledge base article:

Varimathras Replaced
After his defeat in the Battle for the Undercity, Varimathras left players unable to complete various low-level quests. In an effort to fill his void, Bragor Bloodfist and Aleric Hawkins have stepped in, and Sylvanas will also play a larger role. These NPCs will now permanently offer all quests previously handed out by Varimathras. For more information about these quests, please review the following knowledge base article:
