X-fer Faction change question

Friend is x-fering and faction changing to a new server. In his inventory is a horde chopper mount unlearned. If he transfers with that item will it turn to an ally bike?

If an item has a cross-faction counterpart, it will convert accordingly after undergoing a Faction Change. For surety, you can look an item up on the Armory, and under "Item Facts," you should see "Alliance/Horde Equivalent," with a link to the item's equivalent.

As shown on the Mechano-hog's page, it will convert to Mekigneer's Chopper.

This is entirely correct.

As you can see, the Mechano-hog is faction specific and will therefore be converted to the Alliance equivalent. :)
