Okay guys, the guild warlock is almost here. Once he gets here we can begin summoning the MT, the only person in the guild with full epics. A couple of people haven't gotten attuned yet so they'll group up through BRD and go the long way. Mages, it's an hour before we're starting, so if you start now you might have enough water for everyone.

Paladins, I expect blessings to be on everyone. Don't melee; we don't to waste the priests' mana on you guys from the AoE and it's not like your rotation will have time for attacking anyway, what with all the blessing you guys will be doing.

Rogues, make sure to drop out of stealth to get buffs or you get nothing. Hunters, keep your pets on so they can go out of control and pull an extra group before we're done, because we all know we're not leaving without wiping at least once.

What the hell is a feral druid doing in this raid?

I almost started to get flashbacks until I read the Paladin part. We didn't have any. ;) Where's the Horde version? Ahh Memories.

If you don't remember when Tauren females couldn't zone in... you haven't done Molten Core.

We could probably start a slew of these "If you don't remember "x" you haven't done Molten Core" or "If you never did "Y" you haven't done Molten Core." It's fun to reminisce, but I'd never discount anyone who wasn't there during that time. :)

Oh I know, it's just funny some of these bugs/PITA things that newer players would have no idea about. Even a lot of raiders from before BC might not even know about the tauren thing, especially if they played alliance.

Just going with the theme of the thread.

No I totally got it. :) I actually want the list. It reminds me of "you might be a redneck" only "you might be a raider" or more specifically "You might have been an MC raider if..." (As long as it's kept clean that is.)

Well, miraculously that is all that seems to be in their memory when they post about previous versions on the forums. It's never;

"Wow, you guys are right, the server community has diminished over recent years directly due to changes we have implemented."

We have plenty of very fond memories of the old days. I was only adding a slightly painful, yet funny memory about the system for conjuring items for other players back in the day. I took the warlock perspective since that is what I was playing, but mages had an equally interesting time as described by Flameshock in post #436.

If you watched the five-year anniversary interviews (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wowanniversary/video/), you'd see plenty of Blizzard employees mentioning their most memorable World of Warcraft experiences being very early in the game's lifespan. We all have a great deal of nostalgia for our humble beginnings. At the same time, we'll continue doing what we think is right to improve the game for the majority of those playing today. There's no need to insert your own agenda or meaning into the few words I posted. :)

ah the good old days when you could sit in BRM and mind control people into the lava... good times

So it was you! :p
