Can't use my name after Faction Change

Good morning.

My husband and I have encountered an issue after faction changing one of our characters. We have had a ticket up for over 24 hours now, but it still doesn't show an estimated time until the ticket is serviced and we would like to not miss tonight's guild raid.

Here's what happened:

We transferred 2 toons to a new realm and then paid for the faction change service. We had our new names previously reserved through level 1 alts.

My husband's toon was flagged for a rename, since there was already someone in the new server with the same name as his old name. Instead of renaming it first, he went straight for the Faction Change recustomization screen, since it stated on the FAQ it would allow him to change the name, but not before deleting the alt he was using to reserve the new name. This was around 4 AM EST, yesterday. (over 24 hours ago)

After he was done choosing his new appearance, he named his new toon Daelian, on the server Arygos (PvE-EST), which was promptly accepted by the system. No issues until then.

But when he tries to log on his toon, he gets an error saying the toon is flagged for a rename. And when he tries to put in Daelian again, he gets an error saying the name is already taken.

Is there any chance we could get a GM to remove the flag? We're not going to spend another 10 $ just to circunvent a system issue, and we would like to keep the name which we reserved.

Terribly sorry for any inconvenience, Nattalie. That was an artifact of the system.

See if he can log in now, he should be able to.

Just as a point of reference for any future services, if you have multiple changes such as faction, realm, race, etc. - do one - log into the character, then request the next.

This is fairly rare, but it can sometimes happen if multiple services are layered and the character isn't logged into - inbetween.

Again, terribly sorry for any inconvenience - let us know if we can be of further assistance.
