7 day free game time does not work....

So my main account has been expired for a couple weeks and i just got this email. and when i click on the link in the email it just brings me to Battle.net log in.

Anyone with same problem? i know i can go buy some time but im really hard for money atm :( This email looked like a nice gift from blizz....

This is of some concern to me, and I feel that it's important =). While Eilethalua is correct, and your best bet is probably contacting our Billing & Account Services staff directly, I profess to no small amount of curiosity regarding this issue.

Can you provide me with the name and realm of a character on the account you're attempting to apply this game time to?

UPDATE:

Have you tried clearing the cookies and cache of your browser, or tried an entirely different web browser? That could be a contributing factor.

Ah, that too is true.

To be eligible for 7 free days of play time, the account must meet the following criteria:

• The account must be in good standing (i.e. not locked or suspended).
• The account’s expiration time is prior to October 16, 2009.
• The account may not be a trial account.

In addition, only certain accounts are eligible, and attempts to apply the time to an ineligible account will be met with an error message.
