HELP! Someone put an Authenticator Code...

...on my account! When I type in my account name and password it asks for a Digital Code. I didn't put one on is the problem.

To be fair, if you'd had an Authenticator, no one else could have applied one to your account. More than that, if the account in question had been adequately secured, we wouldn't be having this conversation =/. Authenticators, for those who use them appropriately, can be an incredibly effective additional layer of security.

There is also a potentially more cost effective option in the form of the Mobile Authenticator, if your mobile device and service are compatible:
