First thing this morn ,i get a whisper from this player telling me my account has been temp suspended, then he directs me to a web site for further info ,no dought a keylogger phishing site. here is the link to the screen shot of his whisper <removed> hope this enough evidence to get him banned perm for impersonating a GM , i did not respond to the whisper at all ,since i knew there is no cause for me to get suspended it was certainly a scam , i did check my e-mail for anything from blizzard ,but of course there was nothing there.

Those are indeed scams, Raz.

Just report anyone like this ingame. You could either petition or just right-click their name and use Report Spam, both will serve the same purpose.

If we ever message you ingame, there will be a blue Blizzard logo by our name.

Thanks!

Please note that Blizzard representatives will always have the small "Blizz" icon next to their name when chatting. This is one of the more obvious signs to look for, but it's not the only one.

Keep in mind that:

    1) AddOns depending, chat initiated by a Blizzard representative will bring up a new window. This window is described in fuller detail here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=14498459981&sid=1

    2) Blizzard representatives will not have you visit a link to "verify" your account, prevent its closure, or otherwise "confirm" its security. If we require any form of ownership verification from you, we will ask you to provide verbal confirmation over the phone with one of our Billing representatives or email/fax in documentation provided by us directly.

    3) While we have recently opened our Blizzard Pet Store and are providing Mr. Chilly pets for those who merge with Battle.net, we are not currently offering any "specials" wherein players must visit a link to receive a free in-game pet or mount. In-game whispers which suggest otherwise are malicious in nature.

    4) In-game mails sent by Blizzard representatives will be marked by a "Blizzard" logo. This logo will appear in the normal icon "slot" which rests just to the left of the in-game mail subject line.
