Realm: Lightning's Blade
Guild: Immortai
Raid ID: 31682382 - TOGC up to Anub Cleared 48 Attempts Remaining

Hope this would never happen but with 48 attempts left on Anub (Had a little Faction Champ Trouble) we had our Raid ID (31682382) Hijacked by someone who recently left the guild.

I obviously put an ingame ticket in, as our raid week is short if the ticket is not responded to quickly we will not have the opportunity to try for A Tribute To Mad Skill or even kill Anub this week which for a raiding guild is pretty much the only thing going on these days. Especially as we have friendly competition with the other guilds on our server for the first Anub kill with 25/45/50 attempts left.

I think a system to expedite these types of requests would be nice, and I think more than a 3day ban is in order for people who do this kind of thing to 25-35 raiders looking to push progression.

While that sucks, he was willingly invited, and therefore has EVERY right to that Raid ID as you do.

I know it doesn't sound pleasing to you, but as its the truth, and its the way the system is designed.

This isn't necessarily correct in a case like this one, actually, as the nature of the Trial of the Grand Crusader instance potentially makes it vulnerable to this kind of abuse. We are prepared to investigate and deal with the matter appropriately. Each episode of this nature is unique and must be investigated according to its own circumstances though, and our staff may indeed not be in a position to help.

It is unclear if our staff will be in a position to reset your instance, however, though I am truly sorry that this issue occurred at all.

I wish you luck.
