Q u o t e:
The GM I spoke with offered me the same "solution" (he called it a solution, at least) over and over: file a suggestion on the suggestion forums. Suggestions pertaining to this, which range from allowing GMs to refund attempts to removing these tribute type runs entirely are everywhere. Because of this, his solution was not acceptable to me, but I was eventually informed that if I continued to push the issue, there would be consequences. We stopped raiding our Tribute run on Tuesdays in an attempt to not have to deal with this issue.

What you don't seem to understand is that the GM would like to help you, but is restricted by policy as to what they are able to do. They can't refund the attempts, and they certainly can't change the raid mechanics. The developers who could change these policies read the Suggestions Forum, and if you would like to see things done differently, then you need to post there to reach them.

Thank you for the report, Gaffer. Our technicians keep a watchful eye on latency related issues at all times. Accordingly, if there were major increases in latency, they most certainly know about it and will do everything they can to prevent it moving forward.

To better provide our players with an avenue to report latency related issues, in patch 3.3 we'll be implementing a new lag reporting UI feature that operates similar to the GM ticket submission process. Hopefully, this will give us a better look at latency issues as a whole. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this features once patch 3.3 is released.

This particular issue has already been forwarded on to the appropriate parties for further investigation, but I'm afraid at this current moment I am unaware of any specific information gleaned as a result of the report.

Q u o t e:
I wonder if there will be any active involvement from the network people regarding the lag report feature in 3.3 or if it will be just some blind report made on the user end.

The latency reporting feature will better allow us to track and identify latency related issues that affect a large percentage of the population. I can guarantee you that we will investigate these reports -- especially those which several players report.
