Auction bot

I assume auction bot add-on is ban-able? (auction snatch)
I reason that because it has automated something that gives you a distinct advantage where as auctioneer's scan makes you still push a button (or so i have read)

assuming this is all correct, If i try to sell something on the neutral AH and lose it because of this, is it possible to retrieve the lost items?
Is it possible to ban the player doing this?

Bots and add-ons are totally different things.

If you suspect a bot, please do put in a petition.

That said, as has already been mentioned, transferring anything via the neutral AH is allowed, but is not a supported transaction.
