Kirin Tor Ring Exchange

This question has been asked several times in this forum and other forums as well, but I haven't yet seen an answer. Many of us have rings that we bought before a previous patch that weren't ideal for our spec or class that we would like to exchange for the better rings that came out in the later patch.

Is there going to be a way to exchange one type of Kirin Tor Ring for another in the upcoming patch, and if not, would we be able to get a GM to exchange the rings for us?

I've been holding off on assisting on this matter since my ring situation hasn't been urgent, but I'd really like have my Kirin Tor ring be one that I can actively use, rather than have it be just a really expensive hearthstone. So if there isn't going to be an in-game method of exchange soon, I will most likely place an assist to ask if it can be exchanged.

Which rings do you mean, Kokia, as far as I am aware the Band, Loop, Ring and Signet of the Kirin Tor, went in with Wrath of the Lich King along with the Inscribed versions.

The Etched version went in a more recent patch, around 3.1 or 3.2 if I remember correctly.

If these are the rings that you are referring to, Kokia, I'm afraid that unless an exchange mechanic is implemented we will likely be unable to assist. It has never been our practice to reimburse or provide an exchange for content change.

If you would like to see an exchange mechanic implemented the best place to post such an idea would be in the Suggestion forum so our Developers and Community Managers can take it into consideration.
