pretty much, im trying to talk my girlfriend into atlest trying WoW, on the other side of the US for awhile and figured its something we could do together, atlest while shes away and i have an old WoW account i never use so i was wondering if its against the rules to let her use, or give her the account, since its already loaded with wotlk and would save spending another 80+ bucks on the game.

I think this has been discussed into the ground at this point.

Kyris, as some of the others have said the Terms of Use forbids you from sharing your account with anyone except in certain circumstances. Only one adult (registered to the account) and one minor child (who the registered adult is the parent or legal guardian of) may ever access an account.

It would be a much better idea to use the Recruit a Friend option, this will allow your girlfriend to create a trial account herself and allow her to try out the game. More information can be found below on this promotion.
