Warfronts - The Skinny - Blue Tracker

Hey all,

There a few borderline meltdown theads and chat in-game. Here's a run down of how Warfronts will work.

Warfronts will alternate. Everyone will have multiple rounds of both the outdoor and instanced content.

Since the Alliance currently controls it, it's the Horde's time to queue up and take it. There's no Alliance queue in this phase.

Phase 1 - Alliance Control/Horde Contributions: The Alliance starts with control of Arathi Highlands.
Alliance characters can access level 120 content in Arathi Highlands until the Horde takes control in Phase 3.
Horde players contribute profession items, gold, and War Resources to help their faction build up enough strength to attack.
No Warfront queue is available until the Horde has gathered enough resources.
Phase 2 - Alliance Control/Horde Assault: Once enough Horde contributions are gathered, the Warfront: Battle for Stromgarde unlocks.
Alliance characters can access level 120 content in Arathi Highlands until the Horde takes control in Phase 3.
Horde players are able to queue for the instance for a limited time.
Phase 3 - Horde Control/Alliance Contributions: When the time expires, the Horde completes their attack and takes control of Arathi Highlands.
Horde characters can access level 120 content in Arathi Highlands until the Alliance takes control.
Alliance players contribute profession items, gold, and War Resources to help their faction build up enough strength to attack.
No Warfront queue is available until the Alliance has gathered enough resources.
Phase 4 - Horde Control/Alliance Assault: Once enough Alliance contributions are gathered, the Warfront: Battle for Stromgarde unlocks.

FAQ

Why can't I queue for Assaulting Stromgarde as Alliance as of 9/9/2018?

Currently the horde has reached phase 2, and the Alliance doesn't need to assault their own base. The alliance will be able to assault the keep again once they reach phase 4.

Why can't I queue for Assaulting Stromgarde as Horde as of 9/9/2018?

There was a temporary bug preventing this, but this has been resolved. Log out of your character for 15 minutes if you are still not able to queue while the horde Assault queue is available.

Hey all,

This thread has been derailed from its original intent and devolved nearly entirely into arguing which is not productive. I'm locking this thread.

We do appreciate people expressing their opinions on the current state of Warfronts, but that was not the purpose of the thread. If you need a greater understanding of how warfronts currently work, please see this post.

If you would like to provide feedback on warfronts themselves, please use one of the current feedback threads with many posts to provide this. Having a few centralized threads makes it easier for our community team to parse the information. Again, we understand that there are strong opinions on this matter, but keeping your feedback constructive is appreciated.
