Visiting the Dystopia of the Silence Ban

I have to reiterate my greivance with this silence system. Yes I said somethings with people that may or may not exactly been nice, it was 4am I just finished school work decided to play for a little, and these group of griefers from a different server and judging by how they followed me, in same group, decided to make me the focus of their late night antics.

Im not going to sit here and play angel, cause, I myself, a fleet marine force veteran am not the most flowery with words, especially when ive taken my meds and am going to sleep, but when a group of people gang up on me, who I have no history with and basically attempt to bully me, already in the state i am, i will retaliate. Using ignore button wouldnt work as they were from different server and could just continue their bastion on different toons as, I witnessed the main perpetrator log on two many twink alts basing to get my attention so that really wouldnt help. This all stemmed from a childish event from said party who I beat in a duel.

And I dont report people unless its something racist, anti-semitic, and downright uncalled for, stuff like that. But really? I get griefed by a group and when i talk cause the glorious system in play, they didnt like I wasnt the typical player to fall to agitations from sourness and foolishness so they mass report and im stuck out, a 16 day ban. Not 14, not 7, but 16. Im sure if you look at those toons some i mentions track record they have bans on them.

Why am I being harshly punished for this? Makes no sense. This silence keeps me from interacting in majority of my gameplay, such as randoms etc, why not just cut it to 14? I didnt even notice 16? What gives? I mean cmon, this is overboard, I think I get the point now, cutting through my 3rd weekend is overkill, this is ridicilous.And the stuff I said was lukewarm compared to what they said. ALSO, my chat addon, maintains history even when dced from an incoming silence, and I was unable to report any of the people who initated the unwarranted griefing.

I cant take another weekend without being able to communicate in randoms at the expense of bad gameplay from inability to instruct instead of basically playing like a trial account.Also an extremly rare mount dropped I already had other day, and luckily Im crafty enough to speak through other avenues, cause if not for that, then what? Silence system is for the birds and its needs a 2nd look and more realistic approach through overhaul.
