I had made quite a long post about this back before azerite armor upgrade was implemented, but I can't find the post now.

I don't really feel like typing it all out again, but here's the just

I think a lot of players, myself included, would really enjoy any system that lets us que for nonrated 1v1 PvP either from the honor tab like you would a skirmish or a place out in the World you could que at something akin to the Brawler's guild but for PvP. You would want to offer a minimal reward for this style of content so players who find it aggravating don't feel compelled to do it.

Another cool thing about this style of content would be that que times would be quick since you only need 2 players as opposed to the minimum of 4 for 2v2 skirm, 6 for 3v3 skirm, 20-80 for a battlegrounds.

I would be so stoked to be able to que for this type of PvP that I wouldn't mind at all if there was only 1 map and it was a reused asset from something like the collesium in WoD, but I'd probably want the traps removed.

I'm well aware that 1v1s aren't going to be the pinnacle of balance, but 2v2 and 3v3 isn't exactly the shining example of the most balanced content you've seen. Not every comp is going to perform outstanding in 2s or 3s and the same would be said about specs in 1v1s. You don't see anyone queing triple ele when they're playing for money and there's a reason for that.

Maybe the best way to explain it would be to say that I wouldn't be even the slightest bit upset if as an ele I que into exclusively wws, rogues and dhs and died in the first 10 seconds of every match. I'd still que it and try find some wonky way of winning.

I just can't see how adding in different styles of PvP content to the game is going to detract from the overall experience.
