Suggestion for Accidents (Must READ)

So Blizzard has very strict policies on what we call Accidents. Mainly because they have put in some very crazy measurements to prevent them.

However we all know nothing is accident proof. Blizzard is scared to be more forgiving because they are afraid people will take advantage of this system.

Example
Accident Level Boost.
Character Xfer.
Name Change Typo

those kind of things.

----------------

I have a solution Blizz... Look I'm the kind of person that I try not to make the same mistakes twice. Except with grammar. I mess that up always and always will. However I left my account logged in cause I was kind of multi tasking and bam my 5 year old boosted a shaman. Even though I deleted it and contacted blizz they said sorry cant do nothing.

I'm not mad its just unfair. Pigs get fed Hogs get slaughtered.

So the policy should be this. You get to make mistakes however only one per every 24 months. So when blizzard tells me ok mike. We will go ahead and fix this issue. however you must check this box and agree to the terms that are connected with us helping.

Terms read if you accidentally boost another character we cant correct it for the next 2 years.

I'm fine with that. it prevents people from taking advantage of you and its just Cool of you to look after us like that. Wow's your baby you made it. However we give you the $$$ to feed and bath it. So treat us like your children as well.

I hope this is read and noticed because I would love to see blizzard implement more practices that are not so harsh towards the customer. But still keep it fair.

Also this will free up resources on your end. You understand a quick yes is faster then a long no.

Your chat team will receive less brain damage and will have faster chat times then ever because they wont be messing with guys like me trying to convince otherwise. 20 minutes I was chatting with a super cool person. However it could of been 60 seconds... that's $$$ that paid time adds up.

Thank you for reading my terribly written post.

Edit add (My boys a good boy and I'm a good dad. He always listens and never ever causes me issues. but he's silly and was so excited when he did it. He said dad look I made you a guy. Look I spelt my name J-O-E-Y JOEY that's me!!!) He's the cutest kid ever.

either way this isn't about me more than its about the community. We all make mistakes. No one is perfect. All I want is a fair system for when those issues happen. Fair for us and fair for blizzard. That is all. Supporting this will only help us all.
Love,

The Dude (Mike)

Aren't there confirm buttons or do you just hit without looking?

There is a confirm button that says once a boost or service is applied it is final and cannot be undone then asks "Are you sure you want to do this?". I'm pretty sure you have to click "Yes" three times before the boost actually applies.

Generally, if you make a mistake and contact Customer Support ASAP they're pretty lenient. It all depends on the situation though.
