Postal service - Blue Tracker

So it seems that the in-game postal service has not worked since the start of Legion, and despite many people complaining about it and posting in these forums, I have yet to see a single blue posting about it.

Is the mail system changing so drastically that it takes an entire team to reprogram it? Or is it just something that has been overlooked?

Many of the people that I have spoken to would really like to test different profession stuff, but you have to do gathering to get mats then drop it for crafting and then if you missed some mats you have to drop the crafting prof and relearn the gathering one...you can see that it gets pretty annoying.

Please, at least let us know what is going on with the mail system.

This is a known issue that we haven't been able to fix yet; it's definitely annoying and gets in the way of testing.

There's a lot of backend changes in 7.0 that have contributed to this breaking on production realms; we've completely rebuilt the way players login to the game world in Legion. Obviously it wouldn't take the entire team to reprogram it, but we tend to tackle bugs by priority and this just isn't as critical to the game experience as a lot of other critical tasks and bugs are.

Don't worry, we'll fix it. In the meantime I'd recommend getting friends or guildmates to help you out with your profession testing; the Alpha/Beta community is pretty nice. =)
