Speaking honestly, I didn't enjoy Ashran that much outside of the first couple times. The death ball play style gets old fast for me. Not to mention how laggy it gets with 80 players spamming abilities at each other. Often the match is imbalanced where one faction is getting destroyed and you have to wait an absurd amount of time for either the other faction to leave or your damage buff to make you insane.
How is Ashran fitting within the story of Legion? Why are the horde and alliance fighting over relics in Draenor, instead of fighting over objects to defend Azeroth against the Legion? To be honest I wouldn't be against having an "old world pvp content" tab so you can q up for scaled up versions of Wintergrasp, Tol Barad and Ashran. Maybe even just a death match Isle of Quel'Danas. But if I'm expected to believe Ashran by itself is relevant with the story, I find that far'fetched.
I think it's awesome to aim for a large scale "war" type feel in a game like World of Warcraft. However adding rewards for this content that are ONLY available in it like "Trinkets" (Accolades) or extra "Points" is not ok.
What I'd like to see for Ashran in Legion is that it isn't obligated with mandatory rewards. I'd even like to see a way to q for old "World PVP" style zones that are scaled up to level 110.
