Recruit a friend issue

Several hours ago I recruited a friend and made sure to input the email information correctly. My friend still hasn't received the email with the code in it. I resent it several times and, in the event I put in the wrong email, I used another recruit a friend pass and resent it again. Still nothing. How long does it take? He really wants to play, and I figured it would be near instantaneous.

I am showing both your Recruit-A-Friend keys have been sent out, Rheyandra.

Your friend may wish to check their spam and junk mail folders and settings to make sure the mail didn't get sorted there and that they are set up to receive mail from us.

As a helpful measure I will be forwarding on the Recruit-A-Friend Authentication keys to your registered e-mail and your friends e-mail. If he still does not receive them I do feel they will reach you, and you could forward on one of the keys from there. He can then make his Recruit-A-Friend account and you two can get playing! :)

Alright, I was able to get both of them, thanks. The next question though is, both were sent out to the same individual and received. Is there any way to reuse that friend slot, or is it permanently gone? I had just created another thinking his email may have been incorrect.

Also, he's actually already purchased the game and the two expansions. Can he just update his account immediately and still receive the ten free days, as well as have the ability to roll a blood elf or draenei?

Your friend will use one key and the other one can be given to someone else or you can let it expire. It is not bound to any specific person until it is used but it always links to the account that sent it out.

Your friend can create the Recruit-A-Friend trial and upgrade the account with all his authentication keys right away. That means he can start out playing a Burning Crusade race right off the bat :)

I wants extra experience!

What do you say, Bheralrul, friends? :)

I bestow upon you Mailbox experience. While using the mailboxes in game you get a super sweet experience buff. It grants you 300% extra experience off of any mail monsters which grant experience. Sadly, there are no current plans to implement mail monsters or mail experience, so the buff is not very useful, other than to certify our bond of mail friendship. It's like a friendship bracelet, but invisible, and not real, but better!
