Hello my account was hacked last week (5 years of gold and items gone from pretty much every character) and I put in a ticket to a GM who said he had forwarded my account to the account recovery team.
The account recovery team then sent me an in game email telling me they had sent an email to the registered account email detailing what the next steps were in order to recover my items. I did not receive said email.
So my questions are:
what happened to that email?
am I still in the queue for item retrieval?

If you are referring to the account you are posting under, this was sent up on the 24th, Finish.
It will still be 2-3 days (estimate here) before this will be able to come up for restoration.
There is no email until that is done. I am very sorry if there was some confusion in communication.
Once your Specialist reviews this there will be an email sent with exactly what was done.
