Day of the Dead Issues

A hotfix has been applied which will prevent various Day of the Dead items from disappearing while changing zones or retrieving items from the mail.

As you may be aware, this weekend we will be celebrating the memories of those we've lost by observing the Day of the Dead within Azeroth. We welcome you to visit the graveyards of all major cities to take part in the festivities.

We are currently investigating the following issues surrounding the event:

• Macabre Marionette disappearing when changing zones **resolved**
  
• Players being disconnected when retrieving Bread of the Dead or Candy Skulls from the mail, auction house, and guild banks **resolved**
  
• The Day of the Dead costume may not last the full 12 hour duration

Unfortunately, the Game Master staff will be unable to provide immediate assistance as these issues also affect our ability to provide reimbursement. Please refrain from submitting an in-game petition regarding the issues described within this thread unless otherwise instructed.

Our Quality Assurance and Development teams are working to identify and address these issues as quickly as possible so that you may fully enjoy the Day of the Dead events. Should more information become available, updates will be provided within this thread.

It looks as if one of your fellow players has already suggested the Marionette be made permanent on the Suggestions Forum. If you'd like to see it made permanent, I encourage you to join the discussion there!

It looks as if the Macabre Marionette will begin appearing in your inventories and mailboxes soon, everyone. If you are still missing a marionette, please post the name and realm of the character in question so that we can look further into this.

I checked my characters I did it and had the item on on Proudmoore, and nothing in the mail and the item is still gone. :( I also had my wife check her toons, nothing there either.

We need character names/realms, Pukka.
