Black Lotus Spawn Rate Increased - February 13

With a hotfix going out to all Classic Era realms today, we’re increasing the rate at which Black Lotus respawns from any appropriate node.

Because this is an increase to respawn rate, it may not be immediately noticeable. However, over the next few hours and days, the aggregate supply of Black Lotus should increase on Classic Era, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms.

While this hotfix also applies to Season of Discovery realms, its impact there should be negligible, as those realms have a separate boost on Black Lotus spawns in place already.

We are looking into a solution that should make Black Lotus more accessible soon on the Anniversary realms. We’ll provide an update once we have more information. Thank you for your continued feedback.

With scheduled maintenance today, we made the following changes on Anniversary realms:

• Black Lotus can now occasionally be found when gathering Gromsblood, Golden Sansam, Dreamfoil, Mountain Silversage, Plaguebloom, or Icecap with 300 Herbalism skill.
• Picking a Black Lotus will sometimes drop an additional Black Lotus.
