On a trial, up to level 20, yes. Original WoW comes with a free 30 days, that you'll receive when you upgrade - all original accounts do whether referred or not.
Once two months has actually been paid on your account (which will happen immediately with a game card, after your first 30 days with a credit card), the zheevra mount will be available to the account that recruited yours.
