Apologies for the delay! I've double- and triple-checked what records we've available and I fear I have not been able to locate any of your druid purchasing Dual Talent Specialization. Admittedly, as you note this purchase occurred over 6 months ago, many of the logs which correspond to that period of time no longer exist.
Because of this, we will be unable to refund your character the 1000 gold cost. Please know that neither I nor the Game Master with whom you spoke are denying this restoration out of malice or disbelief—we actually want to help you! But, as I noted previously, in order for a restoration to occur, we need to confirm that a purchase initially occurred.
I understand this may cause you additional frustration and, for this, I do sincerely apologize. I hope that you are still able to enjoy your time within the World of Warcraft, though!
