I recently reactivated my account to find that i had lost my dual spec even though i had purchased it the day it came out, i contacted customer support and was told they were unable to do anything about this because it was out of the scope of their control. Now please explain whats so hard about this, I've heard of entire inventory of destroy items being restored but this can't be nearly that complicated.

Now i realize its only a 1000 gold but its the principle of the issue to me. If customer support has gotten so bad that something this simple can't be fixed with out much effort then i guess i made a mistake reactivating my account. Please can i get a direct answer exactly why I'm being treated like I'm not paying for your game and if i can get a good one then ill drop the issue if not ill drop my account.

Tiddlebits, are you absolutely certain this character (the one on which you are posting) possessed Dual Specialization? Unfortunately, absolutely no record exists of your druid ever purchasing this ability. This includes a notable lack of achievement credit. =/

While we would deeply love to assist, if we are unable to verify the loss of this ability, we will not be able to refund it. Part of the process of verifying such a loss is determining that the ability was purchased initially, so if you've any additional information you're willing to provide, that would be greatly appreciated. For example: Could you have purchased the ability on another character? If not, can you recall how long you had this ability before your account went inactive? You seem to suggest that you possessed for at least a few days.

Apologies for the delay! I've double- and triple-checked what records we've available and I fear I have not been able to locate any of your druid purchasing Dual Talent Specialization. Admittedly, as you note this purchase occurred over 6 months ago, many of the logs which correspond to that period of time no longer exist.

Because of this, we will be unable to refund your character the 1000 gold cost. Please know that neither I nor the Game Master with whom you spoke are denying this restoration out of malice or disbelief—we actually want to help you! But, as I noted previously, in order for a restoration to occur, we need to confirm that a purchase initially occurred.

I understand this may cause you additional frustration and, for this, I do sincerely apologize. I hope that you are still able to enjoy your time within the World of Warcraft, though! And if there's any additional questions or concerns you may possess, please let me know; I'll be happy to assist in any way that I am able.

Q u o t e:
I would have purchased it the day the patch was released so the 14th as i normally jumped on things of this nature, at the latest the 15th

Just for reference, Tiddlebits, your account went inactive on the 15th.
