Q u o t e:
* The following reputations have been sped up by roughly 30%:

Argent Crusade
Alliance Vanguard
Horde Expedition
Kirin Tor
Knights of the Ebon Blade
Sons of Hodir
Wyrmrest Accord

* Sons of Hodir quests now give more reputation overall.
* Top-level helm and shoulder faction-related enchants are now available as Bind-on-Account items that do not require any faction to use once purchased (they still require the appropriate faction level to purchase).
* Reputation commendations can now be purchased for 1 Emblem of Triumph each.

now, making reputation gains a little easier in WotLK considering were about to make it past the half way mark for this expansion ( course thats just my opinion ) is ok , and the gains sped up by 30% sounds good

but do we REALLY need rep commendations for the price of ONE triumph ( which can be earned from pretty much EVERY thing in 3.3 )

with a change like that reputation might as well not exist because you can get exalted with any rep of your choice in 1 day of running some instances while wearing their tabard and turning in badges for commendations

the 30% speed up i support
the commendation i do not

there needs to be a line drawn somewhere blizz when you say "we want everyone to have access to this"
because rep wasn't really hard to earn in the first place and took MINIMAL effort and MINIMAL time

We're still discussing the addition of commendations for emblems. While all of the reputation changes are subject to revision, the point with which you hold contention is currently being debated internally as well.

Any changes wrt to being able to transfer BOA items from horde <> alliance and vice versa? I have 1 priest on the horde side swimming in badges, and the rest of my alts are all lowly geared alliance toons.

Help please :(

This is something we're actively working on and hope to have it ready for patch 3.3.

Grinding 7 different factions to exalted over...and over...and over for every single alt? Not cool. I know it, most players know it...and I'm fairly sure you know it too.

Believe me, I know. I'm working through Sons of Hodir and the Argent Tournament on an alt and my eyes are bleeding.

Sons of Hodir exalted cost 2.1k gold. Hardly a big deal. The Argent Tournament grind to crusader may take a while, true, but it's also something like 200g a day, for 20 minutes of playtime. Hardly a big deal.

While some degree of BoA content is reasonable, too much just gets ridiculous. Grats--you have an 80. That doesn't mean you shouldn't have to put a reasonable amount of time into 80 alts before they're decked out.

Good points. :)

If transferring BoA items between factions is in the works are we ever going to be able to send them between characters on different realms?

This is also something we're interested in doing, but it requires a bit more infrastructure work. We don't have any projected time frame for such a feature at the moment.

Q u o t e:
Zarhym, are there any plans to eventually allow players to mail bind on account items within the same battle.net account even if they're on different WoW accounts?

Basically the same goes for this question. We're interested in doing it, but I don't have a time frame for you as of yet.

Edit: I should also add that this shouldn't be taken as confirmation that we're committed to making these extensions of the BoA feature available. Plans could change.

Zarhym, can you please address my concern about WSG/AB reputations? They are as much part of the game as the Wrath factions are. They are more grindy than anything else =(

I don't have any information to share on the subject at this time. While revamping many aspects of the old world in our next expansion, we're sure to touch upon reputations, but I'm unable to guarantee any kind of changes to Battleground reputations as of yet. I can only say any such change likely wouldn't happen until Cataclysm and it's too early to tell.
