Blood Knight Tabard / Faction Switch

I was a Blood Elf Paladin. I did the paladin quest and earned a Blood Knight Tabard.

I faction switched and turned into a Human Paladin. I believe at that time the Blood Knight Tabard turned into a plain Guild Tabard.

So... if I decide to faction switch BACK TO THE HORDE, back into a Blood Elf Paladin... will I get the Blood Knight Tabard restored to my inventory?? How does that work??

If not, then this character is ruined.

I don't think this would be automatic, although if you switched back we may be able to restore it. I cannot guarantee that, but it's something that could be looked into.

I can certainly appreciate being attached to certain items, but they don't all translate to the other faction.
