I have to say I really, really don’t like these.
It just doesn’t feel like it’s bringing across the impact of these massive strikes. The idea is that we leave them utterly reeling and shatter their armor. But it’s just another hit with some ghost weapons cheering us on.
And the way the ghost weapons strike at a different time to the character just makes it feel weird. Almost laggy. And they impact around the enemy. That seems silly. They should hit the enemy with us!
Warbreaker is worst of the two. What on earth are you thinking with that spin? That doesn’t add to the sense of power at all.
Please, please, please revise these animations. It will be so disheartening to see them go live like that.
