I really Understand the wanting on a Christmas release of cataclysm, But please don't rush and make the patch in a month, then let us play it for month and release the XPAC thats exactly what happend to Naxx PRE BC. And it was a god awful experience then.

Please Make the patch in the right amount of time, The ony patch took a month and half almost 2, I really don't want to see this just get scrip scrapped together as fast as we can to make a bit more money on our new expansion ( Which I am looking foward to mind you, I hear Insta Soul Fires Hurt)

Give this Patch the Qaulity and effort it deserves.

The point im making is please make this a worth while patch, take your time, iron the bugs, No DI's On Razorgore tricks etc etc. Make everything with quality, Releasing cataclysm a few months laster is not that big a deal, you won't lose clients and essientally nothing changes, Just a bit more spread out on sale instead of a BURST sale.

Meaning this Christmas? We just announced its existence a couple of months ago.

Patch 3.3 is the last major patch of Wrath of the Lich King. All of the lore and content of this expansion is leading players to Icecrown Citadel to confront the Lich King. We want to make sure it's done right before focusing our attention on Cataclysm. There are still many features of patch 3.3 that have yet to be fully developed and released on the test realms. We are doing everything we can to ensure the content we're developing is quality and will allow plenty of time for testing it.

I think it's safe to say:

1) Blizzard learned from Naxx Pre BC not to release ridiculously good content a blink before an expansion.

2) Blizz will thoroughly test one the most important content patches since release (Lore wise).

3) Icecrown Citadel will attempt to be one of the Crown Jewels of instances due to its storyline and because let's face it, most of us have close ties with WC3 and Arthas. This is the "Super Bowl" for many of us long time players.

So rest assured OP, they're going to take care of this patch a lot. (not saying more then usual but *wink* *wink* they're really excited about this patch I guarantee you).

You could almost argue that the WOW train that is this behemoth of a game is directed at this patch, this raid instance, this boss.

I like this post. :)
