B.net pet

Today my friend received Mr.Chilly and I did not. I made my account into a b.net account long b4 he did. when is the last day I should worry about not receiving the pet? Nov.11?

Update: If exiting the game client completely and then relogging does not work, please go ahead and reset your Battle.net account's password. You may do so here (https://us.battle.net/account/management/index.xml?) or here (https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.xml). After you've reset your password, remain logged out of the game client for about 5 minutes.


If you've not yet received your non-combat penguin pet at this time, go ahead and completely exit the game client, wait about 10 minutes, and then relog using your Battle.net credentials. (Simply relogging your character or quickly opening and closing your game client may not allow the proper update to occur.)

If you continue to experience any difficulty receiving your pet, please let me know. :)

It'll be sent to all active characters, Wannabejedi. Unfortunately, I don't know if this will always include new characters, so you may want to hold on to one or two of those pets to pass around later if necessary.

Angelie, I'm showing that you have exited the game client and relogged, but I'm going to ask that you do this again, but for a bit longer. Try a good 7 to 10 minutes and then check back. I'll be here to help should your penguin not be waiting for you. :)

(Just make sure you exit the game completely!)

Also, just as a general note: Our systems are presently attempting to award many thousands of characters non-combat penguin pets at this time. This process involves a form of verification and requires several checks to occur. Due to the just how many inquiries are coming in within a small period of time, getting your penguin pet awarded may be a bit slow. This is why we're encouraging you to completely log out and remain offline for a period of time, as it can take some of that load off and may better allow these checks to take place.

All those accounts I've looked into, though, are flagged to receive a pet appropriately; it just may take some time for you and your penguin to rendezvous. :)

While logging out for about 10ish minutes and back in on a Battle.net merged account seems to be working for most players, it may be taking a bit longer for others.

One other thing that has been reported as having a good outcome is changing your Battle.net password AND being logged out for at least 10 minutes.

That seems to be working for the majority of cases where a simple logout period has not. May be worth a try.

One thing we are also seeing are folks that think they are logging out, but aren't totally closing out of the game.

Note: Logging out means to totally shut WoW down and relaunch :)

I had merged my Battle.net acct a few months ago. Today, Mr. Chilly started showing up for many people with merged accounts, but it did not show up in mine.

Have you tried the resetting the Battle.net password trick, Merinna? That's working for most folks that logging out alone isn't helping.
