Unable to retrieve corpse.

I am currently dead and unable to retrieve my corpse.

I would not bring this up if it was an isolated event. However there have been times I have been killed by mobs or ganked and have had to take a 25% durability loss because I cannot retrieve my corpse because my spirit did not spawn with flight capability and my corpse is not accessible without flight.

This needs to be fixed. Make all corpses fly in Northrend. Why hasn't this already been done? What is the possible benefit of only allowing them to fly sometimes?

Opening a ticket does not any good because ti takes 2-3 days to get a GM. So you have no choice but to take the durability loss and rez sickness.

This is not working as intended. A ganker should not be able to do that to another player. As these locations get discovered more and more gankers are going to be trying to do this.

Dasein, when submitting a petition regarding a stuck character, please include the following information within:

stuck

That last bullet is incredibly important, as it will help our Game Masters identify your petition with greater speed. Though our wait times are currently still a bit extended, we do make every effort to ensure that our players are to not only able to get in the game, but move around within it. :)

I do apologize for any concern or frustration this has caused you, but I hope this information will help in future situations. (Also, on this same note, you may try queuing for a battleground if you're willing to take the Deserter Debuff. You'll be returned to your place of queue up, but you'll be alive.)

Unfortunately, Malgantis, the majority of your petitions that I'm seeing did not include any mention of the word "stuck" within them; however, the two that did were resolved within 30 minutes.

While wait times will vary, I can assure you that such petitions are addressed as quickly as possible. :)

(Please note, though, that simply including the word "stuck" within a non-related petition—like a restoration request, for example—will not expedite it. Its inclusion within petitions that are opened in response to an inaccessible character, though, does help us provide more timely assistance to those in need.)

This was resolved with a more recent patch. You do need to be released from your corpse, though. :)
