Q u o t e:
I'm totally freaking out right now.
Okay so someone has gone in and made a battlenet account with my world of warcraft account. How is this possible? I was never sent an email on merging my account with a Battlenet account! Also I NEVER give out my password. Ever.
Also I got an email about 5 minutes ago saying that I've had a password retrieval? But I think its a fake email? It wants me to go in and tell my password. Which I don't know...because someone made a battlenet account and I'm sure changed the password.
I am waiting until 8am PDT (That's 10 my time..sigh) and I'll call but I just don't understand how they could have done this without me getting any sort of email!
I want my wow back :(
Those stickies should prove useful.
You'll also need to give Billing a ring in the case of an unauthorized merge.

To have done a merge, someone had your password and ID. That tends to point towards malware, a compromised email - or you may have fallen prey to a phishing scam.
Finding the security breach is important. If they CAN still get in, they WILL be back.
You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will keep anyone else out of your WoW account.
