Get disconnected today and attempt to re log and I have been suspended. Check my email and it says the following:

> Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
> Offenses: Harassment Policy Violation - Spamming
> This category includes:
> * Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
> - This includes saying the same phrase more than once in a period of 30 seconds
>
> Details (Note - Times are listed in Greenwich Mean Time, GMT):
> 2007/09/27 08:52:28 (GMT) - Dominating emotes "/train"
> 2007/09/27 08:52:28 (GMT) - Dominating emotes "/train"
> 2007/09/27 08:52:28 (GMT) - Dominating emotes "/train"

Anyone else think this is a ridiculous excuse to ban me for 72 hours? I admit I was spamming it but so were 3 other people who have not been suspended or warned or anything in fact. Considering it does not spam any text and is only sound which most people have turned off anyway, I don't see justification in giving me such a harsh penalty ( a simple warning for this would of been more appropriate don't you think?). Have not replied by email as last time I was given a suspension I did not receive an email for days after (which simply is not good enough). By the way I am posting from a friends account as It seems I cannot post on my account whilst its suspended.

Character name is Dominating of Blackrock for you're information blue moderator dudes D:

I eagerly await you're response =|

As Tandaa mentioned, if other people spammed and were reported they would have been investigated and appropriate actions taken. If you spoke to these others and they had not received any actions, odds are good that only you were reported.

We generally only look into the player that was reported and the person who reported them, we will never tell you what actions had been taken though.

Now the e-mail that you were sent had a few more /train emotes than you listed but I understand that you didn't want to spam the post with them. Using emotes to have a bit of fun is perfectly acceptable, that is what they are there for, however using the /train emote 126 times in 38 seconds is a bit excessive and that is why you were actioned.

Unfortunately given your account's colourful history you had reached the point where this violation put you at the 72 hour mark; I should note that this is not the first Spamming violation either, and I hope from this point on that you abide by the policies set forth in the Terms of Use.

If you wish to dispute these actions feel free to contact our Account Administration Department if you'd like.

Q u o t e:
I would also like to point out the alliance quest that is only completable by in fact spamming /chicken 200 odd times http://thottbot.com/i11110 hell I even have this item on my warrior maybe you should permanent ban me for doing a quest?

The conditions for this quest are very well known and taken into consideration when someone is reported for spamming the /chicken emote.
Q u o t e:

I would just like to quote this straight from the blizzard website thanks to the lissanna for bringing it to my attention.

So I'll point out another paragraph for your consideration.

Q u o t e:
Any time a player is found in violation of our policies, we hope to give only the most minor of penalties (Warnings). However, we must also factor in the severity of the infraction and how often the player has violated our policies in the past. Based on these factors, the penalty may be moved up the Penalty Volcano, up to and including Account Closure.

As I said, if you wish to dispute these actions contact our Account Administration Department, they are the only ones that will be able to review the actions taken.

If you wish to continue the debate be my guest, as long as the conversation remains civil I have no problem in allowing it to continue.

Umm? I dont see why you took that link away considering the song is censored. Just because you can't understand him and presume its bad because he is of African american descent does not justify this edit.

Really? And who says that I was referring to the song? Besides you that it.

As I specifically said I removed the link for profanity on the first page.

I understood him just fine and although that style of music is not one that I favour the song itself would have been fine if not for the comments section which contained inappropriate language therefore I could not have the link remain on these forums.

Perhaps you would like to accuse me of other small minded views to amuse yourself, Doogiehowser? You don't know me, so please put the soapbox away and don't assume that you know my motivations especially after failing to read the reason for it's removal.

6th comment down by makaveli2p.

I don't know what the mouse over bit is, I'm talking about the comments section. The same reason we are not able to have the Rickroll video posted. :(

We haven't met officially, Karebear, I'm Vrakthris I don't lie. If I am posting about something I may not be able to provide all information that is available to me but I will never knowingly tell an untruth.

Now some may believe that and some may not but I have been on these forums long enough that people are very aware of my posting history.

And I think it is time to lock it.

The first question, Etog, he will need to speak with our Billing Department about, the second question our Account Administration Department would be the best place to contact.
