Blizzard Post
We remain aware of the ongoing instability issues affecting the Battlegrounds and Arenas across certain realms. I thank you all for displaying the level of patience you have while we work diligently to resolve these issues as quickly as we can. From this point on, I would like to keep this topic isolated to one thread, so we can better track the issue’s progress. I assure all of you that we are doing everything in our power to resolve this for you as soon as we are able to.

I understand that many players have suggested that you AFK out of the battle once it has ended, after you receive your rewards. If you are still set on participating in Battlegrounds and Arenas at this time, and do find yourself in this predicament, I welcome you to try this. If that is the choice you make, simple type /afk into the dialog box, this should remove you from the current battle you are in. As long as the battle has ended, and you have received your Marks and Arena Points, you should not receive a deserter debuff, and remain none the worse for wear.

Thank you, again, for your patience and understanding at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and hope to have everything resolved as quickly as possible.

We will do our best to keep this post updated with the latest information as we get it. Feel free to keep an eye on the Realm Status Forum for updates as well. (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=11113&sid=1)
