Account still closed after reopen

Hello, my account was hacked lastweek and I went through all the necessary steps needed to regain access so I could begin the actual item/gold restoration process. But somewhere in the mix, my account was temporarily banned then closed.

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.

Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.


It stayed closed for about a week, I had sent my appeal to AA and I got this response today!

It is now 12:45 AM and I am still unable to access my account, I have missed a week of raiding. What other process should I get into? Is there a way for me to contact AA or have someone contact AA about this? Am I really going to have to wait another week for this mistake to be settled?

Are you absolutely certain that you system is secure, Winterflame? Usually when an account is closed or suspended twice within a very short time it can indicate that the account is not yet secure.

Awesome, that is very good news, Winterflame. Hopefully AA can straighten out your issue quickly and get you back in the game soon.
