[Feedback] Shaman Enhancement

Hey guys,
So here is my feedback so far.
First of all, to qualify my self, I have been a shaman since vanilla. Raided most of the raids, usually in a very well ranked guild.
Played all specs very well.

Right now I have been testing the Enhanc.

Blizzard has forgotten the shamans for a while now.
Finally in Legion Blizzard is giving some love back.

I like the idea of less skills and mechanics.
Don't like the idea of removing the shocks and making the old "weapon enhancs" as "mini shocks".
I miss the passive abilities of the Rockbitter and Flametongue. Tbh, feels just wrong for those skills to have become "shocks". No reason to remove shocks as well. No sense to make resource generators for enhanc shamans as ranged spells.
Lightning bolt seems kind of dull right now. And we got no real ranged spells, as we used with the instant lightning or the shocks.

Ignoring the Lore and getting trou it.
Right now Shamans are too much of a spamm class.
That is bad for 2 main reasons:

1- It makes it much harder to play and pay attention raid wise, while maximizing dps.
2- the bigger the lag you have, the less spells you will spamm, and making you lose a lot of dps as well.

I am worried the enhanc have become a lot of rngs procs and stuffs.
The rotation is really boring right now. Is easier, but boring.

Doom Winds on CD
Flametongue when buff is down
Rockbitter spamm
Storm Strike on CD
Lava Lash spamm when no SS up
Windsong on cd if speced like that

I would suggest changing the way rockbitter and flametongue works.
If that is not possible, at least add a CD to rockbitter to avoid the spamming.

Survivability was the main issue shamans had in WoD. That alone would make us bench for 99% of the fights.
I saw nothing to fix that issue, actually only made things worse:
1- feral spirit was a huge healing cd. Now is not healing anymore
2- removed the astral shift, which was also an awesome dmg reduction cd. Eventho most classes had better than we did.
3- Healing surge used to be a instant cast with the maelstrom procs, and heal for much more. Now if your maelstrom is down, won't heal for nothing. And even if is up, will heal badly.
4- shamanistic rage is as bad as it used to be

Shaman survivability is much worse. And was already bad.
No way we can make to a core raid roster this way. You need to fix this asap. If we don't get a big buff to survivability, we won't raid at all in Legion.
And please, don't say that every class is just as good. In good guilds you always look for the best comp.

Suggestions:

Skills and rotation
1- Make Rockbitter and Flametongue as weapons enchants. Use skills to "unleash" it, such as landslide, fists of stone, etc.
2- Lava lash could be a resource regenerator with cd
3- make lightning bolt a instant cast consuming maelstrom.
4- make maelstrom generation much more passive, like Fury or Energy. This way is easier to control to nerf or buff later on.
This would make much more sense, lore wise and rotation wise.

Survivability:
1- Give us an immunity, such as spell or physical immunity. Like "body of stone, immune to physical effects for X or anything like that"
2- Some kind of raid healing, as we always had.
3- give back the healing from feral spirit

Feral Lunge was a very good idea, but need to make the range bigger.
Animations look awesome
AOE still needs to work better. We used to be awesome at aoe, not anymore. We did not need to spec for AOE tho, now we do.
Cleaving still seems to be pretty weak, altho better than it used to be.

Overal the class seems easier. But now is dummy difficult.
The skills make no sense lore wise, need to be a bit ajusted.
Survivability is the MUST change right now
Rotation is boring
NEED to remove the spamm skills from the class.

What do you think?
