Does flying mounts = no Flight paths?

I'm a bit confused about your question since I don't understand why having flight paths wouldn't be a included. Do you stop using flight paths once you have a mount?

Also, flying mounts are only going to be available to get and use at level 70. Those mounts will not be on any set paths. However, that said, there will still need to be a means of transportation for anyone under 70 as well land mounts or no.

I don't know of anything planned as far as a flying form for Druids.

As for "feigning confusion", I wasn't. I didn't know if the OP was asking if there would be no flight paths at all because of flying mounts or if they were asking if there were no flight paths mapped out for flying mounts. ie...If flying mount were on specific flight paths and not free flying.

There will be many means of transportation that people should find familiar.

No worries. I just wanted to make sure I knew exactly what she was asking and didn't want to assume so answered both possibilities. It's the first time I've seen someone ask if there would be no flight paths at all and I don't view it as a "stupid" question . It's something that didn't occur to me to ever answer before is all. :)

It's the curse of text and of course you not knowing me personally to know if I'm being condescending or not. I am rarely ever condescending to someone that I think is genuine in their questions and I'm always about giving people the benefit of the doubt.

As for being knocked off the mount, outlook is good. You can get knocked off mounts as they are now and you'll be able to dismount in the air which I know people will do just to see what happens. I'm sure they will enjoy their plummet to their death. However, I'll be sure to double-check on the knocked off the mount question and by what means might someone find themself knocked off.
