We respond to what we can when we can. We participate in the community as a part of the community in fun threads and more serious threads. There is often a method to the madness as well. By responding to something that others may have already answered, we highlight that information just a little bit more in case it's something others might be interested in too. The clock (for instance) is a very simple bit of information, but as I noted, it's often easily overlooked. Now more people know about it. Mission accomplished and it took less time to answer than I took answering your post here. Please keep that in mind for the future. ;)
