Lost 1000g gold in mail

Ok yesterday after i found out you could buy your low lvl alts cold weather flyingng skill, I started mailing out 1000g to my 3 alts.

My banker toon is not guided and only has the 3 alts on her friends list.

I was able to mail 2 of alts there 1000g but my mage Juno off server Arathor did not get her 1000g. So my question is where did i go? I don't think i could had mismailed the gold. This is the toon i mail the gold to my alts.

Petition: Ah I just mailed myself from my banker alt 1000g to my mage my banker alt only has 3 mains on her friends list so there is no way i could had miss mailed the mail the 1000g is there? And she is not in a guild or been whispered or anything. Happened on 10/5/09 server time 6:35am same account. Also before you say try without addons i already have removed the cache/wtf/interface folder removed and still no gold.

It unfortunately appears as though your gold was sent to a character with a very similar name to that of your mage, Omníus. If you hand-typed the recipient's name into the mailing field, it's very possible that you may have selected the wrong high ASCII "o." If you used the auto-fill option, however, it may be worthwhile to double-check your Friends List to ensure that you have the right Junó on it.

As the mail has already been retrieved by the character it was addressed to, I fear we may be unable to intervene. I'd encourage you to perhaps send out some inquiries to see if the recipient is willing to return the money and to remain optimistic. I do apologize for any hindrance or frustration this may cause you, though. =/

In the future, as well, specifically with the advent of the auto-fill mail feature, please continue to exercise extreme caution when sending out large sums of gold or valuable items. I wish you the best of luck, Omníus, and if there's anything else I could do for you, please let me know.
