I kind of assume that this is to stop people from taking the paid card cases to another part of the store and ripping it open and jacking the card. so its understandable. but when i got an employee to grab me a game card he still insisted that i check out with all my other shopping at the stand in electronics. i would of but wasnt done, had to grab some other stuff first. they did hold it till i was done.
as i was paying for my stuff they asked me if i wanted to pay 3 dollars on the game card for a 1 year warranty. I think someone from blizz/activision needs to explain to walmart that the game card is void after its used... and only last 60 days at any rate, and there would be no need to insure a game card for 1 year.
it is sadly just a way for walmart to get 3 extra dollars from people that dont realize why they are being asked to pay for a warranty.
I am half tempted to buy the warranty next time and go home and use the card then come back and complain at the store just to make it know that they are ripping people off.
