Recruit a Friend | Worgen/Goblin

So my friend and I are wanting to know if the Recruit a Friend XP and level granting bonus would count if I created a new account under his recruitment, and then a few days later upgrade that account fully with WoW and Cataclysm?

We did this previously with Burning Crusade and we still had the bonuses of the Recuit a Friend 90 days into my real full subscription.

The goal is to have very fast leveling Worgen/Goblin

Is this possible with at the cost of a fully upgraded WoW account?

I know of no plans to limit the Recruit a Friend benefits for the new races, Fraud. Though more will be known closer to release my best guess is that the triple experience will still apply.

Edit: I should note that the Goblin/Worgen starting areas will likely be available only to Cataclysm enabled accounts, much like the Blood Elf/Draenei starting areas were. So the linked account will need to have the expansion enabled as well if you both want to be in those areas.
