Faction change and gladiator title questions

I have gotten some mixed responses on this question from both in game GMs and from some web research and talking to friends in game, so figured perhaps I would try my luck here.

The short and sweet is that in season 3 I placed top on arena and earned the Vengeful Gladiator title and the Netherdrake mount. Shortly after I quit playing (before season 4 ended) and more or less retired from wow until rather recently after Wrath launched. During my race from 70 to 80 in wrath I still had my title and the matching achievements, when I was under the impression they were to expire the season after you could display it. I thought perhaps with the top ranked title it must have been different and that is why I still had it since I never paid too close attention to the rules on how it behaved as i was never around after season 4 closed.

I then quit again for about 3 months, and came back and still had the title and did a faction transfer the first day they were available, and the title is now gone. The question I keep getting conflicting answers on: is this as designed? Was it meant to expire before and never did due to some random occurance, and some background housekeeping resolved it during the xfer, or is this part of the obscure collection of glitches from early adopter xfers?

However this contradicts the pages you have listing all PVP titles on the wow site where it says they are all reset each season.

Unfortunately there is an ongoing issue where players who transferred between calculations at the end of season 6 lost the title that they earned. That is being looked into.

Can you give me the name and realm of the character that earned the Vengeful Gladiator title? Not where the character is now but where it was when you last remember seeing the title.

I did a faction change from alliance to horde and lost "of Darnasus" title. The FAQ says that it is supposed to change to the respective horde title, but it didn't.... I just lost it. So beware.

Actually, that is incorrect. As the others have stated the title is given through the Argent Tournament. The FAQ states that you will lose all progress when you Faction Change.

Ym, the Orc Rogue who was previously on your other account? The character that was transferred back when it was level 79?

If the character had that title I should still be able to see it. Unfortunately I can only see that the character had Warlord, Conqueror, the Explorer and Jenkins.

I'll try to make some inquiries and see if there is any other way we can verify that you had the title and that you should currently have it, Sargonis. I'll mark this thread and update it if I get news.
