How do I cancel my subscription?

If you would like to remove a form of payment from your account completely, Háyley, you can do so one of two ways.

The first is through the Subscription Setup page (https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/payment-method.html). On this page, you'll see several options with little white buttons next to each. If you select "Cancel recurring subscription plan" and click "Update," you'll be brought to another screen wherein you'll need to state the reason for your cancellation. Once you complete this step, you'll see two buttons appear at the bottom of the page: "Yes, Cancel It" and "No, Keep It." Click the former to successfully cancel your subscription.

The second is through the "Cancel Subscription" link towards the bottom of the page (https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/cancel-account.html). This link will bring you immediately to the screen wherein you'll need to state the reason for your cancellation. Complete the same steps as noted above and you'll be set.

Now, once you cancel your subscription, you'll be able to access and play on your account until your pre-paid time expires. All this cancellation does is prevent you from being charged again before you want to. Whenever you feel like coming back, just log back into Account Management and resubscribe.
