"where is my corpse?"!

yeah i know people prob have this problem all the time,
but is there a solution no not being able to find your corpse?
i powered my way through the levels and hence never stepped foot in the Seering gorge, but after a wipe in BRD and a D/c my character was in the middle of seering gorge,
i followed the map to where my corpse was only to find that it was underground =(

can someone point me in the right direction here?
